There is no minimum number of lessons required to pass a driving test, and the number of lessons needed depends on how quickly you learn. On average, learners need 20 hours of practice and 45 hours of lessons, but some may need more or less.
Your instructor will let you know when you are ready to take the test, but you should also trust your own judgement. It's important to take the test when you feel ready, not just because you want to be the first of your friends to pass.
You will usually need to bring your provisional driving license and payment. If you need glasses to drive, you should bring those too.
